Tinsley Depot, Sheffield, was an unlikely place to find a member of the Deltic fleet, however, in early January 1980 55009 (D9009) "ALYCIDON" was present at the depot for load regulator repairs
and is seen here on the 5th January, it had been present since the 28th December 1979 and would be returned to the ECML on the 9th January, running light engine to York.
