An exceptional view of 55006 (D9006) "THE FIFE & FORFAR YEOMANRY" sees it racing through Naburn, south of York, on the 8th July 1978 with the 1E11 09:00 Aberdeen - King's Cross service, which it had powered from Edinburgh.
This section of the ECML was lost when the Selby diversion was introduced and is now merely a cycle path and walkway.
