...Shortly afterwards 55002 made the small trip to the National Railway Museum next door. Here 55002 was treated to a dedication ceremony, with members of the King's Own regiment present, in honour of the funding by friends of the NRM to return the loco to its original colour and in preparation for the preservation of No.2 within the national collection once its BR service had ended...
