Resplendent following preparation to attend the Rainhill railway celebrations 55013 (D9013) "THE BLACK WATCH" stands in front of its home depot, York TMD, on the 20th May 1980,
note the cardboard covers protecting the silver painted buffers. Unfortunately for York TMD's staff, who's hard work it was to get 55013 into this condition, the loco did not in the end attend the celebrations
with Finsbury Park's 55015 being sent instead.
